What to Expect
The relationships between patient and provider is based on mutual trust and cooperation. Because I am working with your body’s innate healing abilities, your healing process will rely on your active participation. I’m 100% committed to your wellness journey and hope that you will commit to the same!
When you schedule your initial appointment, our staff will ask you some basic questions to determine the best appointment to suit your needs. All patients begin with a consultative appointment prior to any treatment. Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive an intake packet. As a Chiropractic Physician, Dr. Sarah is focused on finding and correcting the root cause of your symptoms and our thorough intake paperwork reflects our approach and requires an investment of some time to complete. You'll be asked a series of questions designed to identify physical, environmental, emotional, and psychological stressors that impact your health. It is vitally important that this intake paperwork be received in advance of your first appointment.
At your first visit, Dr Sarah will discuss your intake paperwork as well as any immediate health concerns and future health goals. This conversation will be followed by a chiropractic examination. At your second visit you'll receive a Report of Findings, which will include a comprehensive plan to reach your short- and long-term wellness goals. This report includes recommendations for frequency of care, nutritional supplementation, additional testing, and a complete breakdown of cost.
Practice members with persistent, chronic health concerns may benefit from additional one-on-one support in our Integrative Wellness Exploration. This highly personalized plan combines chiropractic care, extensive diagnostic testing, genetic interpretation, personalized nutritional and lifestyle recommendations, and coordination of care with your other providers for a whole-body approach to better health, naturally.
How Our Practice Works
Promotion of your wellness is at the core of our practice. Because of that your experience at our office may be drastically different from your experience at a conventional medical practice. We ascribe to a model of health, versus a model of disease. We’re here to focus on the pursuit of wellness mentally and physically with the goal of elevating your overall health and well-being.
Chiropractic is not medicine. Instead we believe that health and well-being is normal state. When stress (physical, mental or environmental) overloads your nervous system it produces vertebral subluxation. Our initial examination is designed to thoroughly uncover your unique issues and a series of adjustments will be needed to address those concerns. At all times you are in control of the decisions in your care, including the speed of your recovery. All processes time take and regaining your health will require time, money and commitment and maintain health may require longer term care.
